We are different from most biotechnology companies. We focus on putting cutting-edge diagnostic tools - the same ones we offer to physicians - directly into the hands of patients to the extent possible under law, so that they are able to better track and become active participants in their health. Our pioneering effort is Digital Mammographer, a system which automatically analyzes screening mammograms for signs of abnormalities, including breast cancer. We hope that the 22% of women whose breast cancer is initially missed by a radiologist[1] find it with our technology - and survive as a result. But even this is just the beginning. We ultimately envision a game-changing shift in the way that medical conditions are diagnosed and treated.
